Christ in the Wilderness (Wednesday 24 February 2010)

Using Stanley Spencer's paintings as a base for our thoughts, we will consider how Jesus' ministry was influenced by the 40 days that he spent in the Judean desert, and how solitude can affect our lives too.

Ann, with her husband Paul, used their former home at Highmoor Hall as a place of retreat and creativity. Ann enjoys combining her love of nature and her love of God's word in the Quiet Days that she leads.
