Using Stanley Spencer's paintings as a base for out thoughts, we will consider how Jesus' ministry was influenced by the 40 days that he spent in the Judean deser, and how solitude can afftect our lives too.

Ann Persson, with her husband Paul, used their former home at Highmoor Hall as a place of retreat and creativity. Ann enjoys combining her love of nature and her love of God's word in the Quiet Days that she leads.
