Our spiritual journeys so often seem to be made up from cold, bleak patches followed by new beginnings or Spring Times, 'times of refreshing' as the Bible calls them (Acts 3:19). Sometimes we need to throw off the winter and embrace a new, deeper experience of God.

Jennifer Rees Larcombe has written about 30 books; she has six children, all married, and two dogs, and she loves gardening. After eight years in a wheelchair following a brain virus, she experienced an amazing healing. She also runs Beauty from Ashes (a counselling/healing centre) from her home, Hildenborough, in Kent.
