Commendations for Quiet Spaces

Beautifully designed and produced, Quiet Spaces offers insights, encouragement and challenge for pilgrims who share a desire to journey deeper into their faith. Read, think and pray with it; you'll find new strength. I commend it with enthusiasm.

Quiet Spaces offers a wonderful source for meditation and prayer, with such a rich variety that there is something for everyone at different stages in their journey.
Sister Frances Dominica, Founder and Trustee Helen & Douglas House

What a joy to have Quiet Spaces and its offer of ways of journeying into the awareness of the Power, Peace and Presence of God. It is good to have something to introduce us to the Presence rather than to debate about God. Let those who risk taking 'time out' to read Quiet Spaces be filled with the wonder, awe and beauty of what God presents to them each day.
The Revd Canon David Adam

'There is a quiet space of reflection in our hearts, beneath all the busy-ness - a space where God dwells. There is a quiet space of unity beneath all our divisions - a space where God moves. ' Quiet Spaces' invites us to enter, and explore these heart-spaces, where we begin to discover who we truly are, and to grow closer to each other, and closer to God.'
Margaret Silf

'There is a growing hunger amongst Christians - evangelicals especially - for deeper intimacy with God. Quiet Spaces is an excellent resource for this journey!'
Rev Dr Russ Parker, Director of the Acorn Christian Foundation

Aptly named, this small volume is an ideal companion on any journey, whether this is a journey inward or a physical journey. Just as journeys move through changing vistas this book moves through many scenes and moods. So it is that you will find something to sustain, inform and inspire each part of the journey as the pilgrimage unfolds.

This is not so much a book to be read as a book to ‘done’ as you journey. The 62 pages, which are very pleasingly set out, could easily accompany you on a very long journey, or several shorter ones.

The book tackles some difficult or often ignored paths of our spiritual journey. Such as the journey to forgiveness; acknowledging how difficult this is and offering valuable insights to sustain the reader along the way. It explores the hidden parts of our journey. Times to stop and stand fast, times to journey with others along the way and signposts and destinations. Each of the Chapters stand alone, yet they are interestingly interwoven, so it is a book that is easily dipped into in whatever order suits your own journey.

This little journal promises to be a wonderful resource for those quiet moments with God.
