Deep calls to deep - reflections on life's journey from the book of Psalms.

It has been said that the Psalms reflect every human emotion and describe honestly the realities of living in a broken world. We will use some of the more challenging Psalms to explore how faith responds to adversity and setback, and seek to incorporate into our own lives lessons that will help our faith to mature and hold firm.

Tony Horsfall is an elder in Ackworth Community Church and a freelance training consultant who specialises in leading retreats and Quiet Days both here and overseas. He is the author of Mentoring for Spiritual Growth (2008), Working from a Place of Rest (2010) and Rhythms of Grace (revised edition 2012) for BRF and writes regularly for New Daylight and Quiet Spaces.
